Geneseo, IL. June 8th, 2025 – Aisle of Flags receives funds from Geneseo Communications, Inc. Employees in honor of those who have served our Country!
Geneseo Communications, Inc. held its fifteenth annual ice cream social in support of the Aisle of Flags on Tuesday, June 2nd to the sounds of Geneseo’s Maple City Band. As part of its commitment to give back to the community, Geneseo Communications and its employees will donate $3,300 to the Aisle of Flags furthering their mission to honor veterans’ past and present.
“The Geneseo Aisle of Flags was started in 1981 as a community salute to the men and women of Geneseo who served our country,” said Sarah Alexandar, Aisle of Flags Board President. “Much of the success of the Aisle of Flags is in part due to the untiring dedication and patriotic spirit of our community,” she said. “We are extremely thankful for the generous support of Geneseo Communications, its employees and the community, the funds raised will allow us to continue this tribute to the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave!”
