3rd grade classSt. Malachy School receives funds from Geneseo Communications Charitable Foundation in support of advanced learning equipment for the classroom

As part of its commitment to give back to the community, Geneseo Communications Charitable Foundation recently announced that it will donate $4,200 to St. Malachy School in support of their efforts to bring innovative learning opportunities to students through new digital technology.

“We are extremely grateful to the Geneseo Communications Charitable Foundation,” said Heather Francque, Principal of St. Malachy School in Geneseo.  “More than ever in today’s classrooms, digital tools are redefining the process of teaching and learning.  Whether it’s through games, online textbooks, animation or videos, digital learning has become an essential part of the educational experience. We are blessed that companies like Geneseo Communications see and share in our vision to guide students of every faith to become educated leaders within our communities.”

The Geneseo Communications Charitable Foundation was established in 2002 by Geneseo Communications, Inc. to enhance, develop and benefit the Geneseo Community.

Geneseo Communications Charitable Foundation grant applications can be found here and can be submitted at any time throughout the year.  Applications are reviewed quarterly and all 501(c) 3 organizations that reside within Geneseo Communications servicing area are encouraged to apply.
