Geneseo Communications is looking for a full-time Marketing Specialist. 

Geneseo Communications, Inc. is the area’s leader in high-speed internet and communication services providing data, voice, and managed services in local and extended area markets. We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Specialist to join our team. This person will be an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans to reach targets from brand awareness to product promotion as well as assist in creating effective marketing programs to meet targeted growth.

Responsibilities for Marketing Specialist

• Collaborate with team members to develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns and monitor strategic marketing initiatives
• Plan, develop and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate digital campaigns and events using channels such as email, social media, and Google Ads, Analytics and Reviews
• Maintain social media platforms and web content
• Develop and create marketing materials, such as sales and product collateral, and ensure brand guidelines are met
• Operation of print equipment including Fiery as well as postal requirements for outreach campaigns
• Analyze and report on the performance and efficiency of campaigns
• Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new marketing opportunities
• Write, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across different mediums

Qualifications for Marketing Specialist

• Strong knowledge of various marketing and analytics tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Premier Pro, Google (SEO), Google Ads and web analytics
• Solid computer skills, including MS Office (Word and Excel)
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS and web development tools desired
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills
• Formal marketing training or experience desired but not required
