donation to Annawan Community Center

Henry County Telephone Company, announced today it will award $1,000.00 to the Village of Annawan, Illinois in support of the town’s new Howes Park Community Center.

In a statement, Willy Kohne, Chairman of the Board of Henry County Telephone Company, commented “it is important for our company to seek ways to support and improve the communities we serve. The new Howes Park Community Center is a great example of a project that touches every member of the community from young to old. This center is used year round by the people of Annawan. Held here are numerous events from family reunions to youth recreation programs. The center allows Annawan to host organized sporting tournaments which draw people into the community which in turn supports the Village’s commerce.”

Henry County Telephone Company has a long, proud service history and is dedicated to help foster the economic growth within Annawan, Atkinson and the surrounding area.
