April 14, 2016 – Geneseo Communications, Inc. announces the winners of their online March Mania Contest
Geneseo Communications, Inc. announces the winners of their Pick-It March Mania college basketball contest. Out of over 200 participants in the community, Samantha Barden of Annawan, IL. earned the most points in the contest with 840 and was awarded first place. Josh Spensley of Geneseo came in second with 770 points, and Chris McKean of Geneseo finished in third with 740 points. Jason Johnson of Geneseo was the company’s random draw winner.
Contest participants were invited to pick who they predicted to win the NCAA men’s college basketball championship tournament games and earned points for each game they picked correctly. The contest was conducted online and sponsored by Geneseo Communications.

The March Mania contest ended with the Villanova Wildcats named as champions over the North Carolina Tarheels.
