Calling Features

Anonymous Call Rejection

Anonymous Call Rejection prevents telephone numbers with the Line Block feature from ringing your telephone. The caller receives voice instructions on how to unblock their number so that the call will then be accepted. Use dial code *77.

Automatic Callback

Automatic Callback calls back the last number you dialed. If the number is busy, the system will continue to attempt the call for up to 30 minutes and lets you know when the call can be completed. Use dial code *66.

Automatic Recall

Automatic Recall announces the telephone number of the last unanswered call you received and automatically dials that number if you wish. Use dial code *69

Call Forwarding

Call Forwarding – Call Forwarding allows you to transfer incoming calls to another number of your choice. Use dial code *72

Call Forward Busy

 Call Forward Busy– Have your calls forwarded to another number anytime your line is busy. Use dial code *90.

Call Forward No Answer

Call Forward No Answer – Have your calls forwarded to another number when you are unable to answer your phone. Use dial code *92.

Caller ID Name

With a Caller ID capable phone Caller ID Name is displayed on your telephone while ringing.

Caller ID Number

With a Caller ID capable phone Caller ID Number is displayed on your telephone while ringing.

Call Waiting

Call Waiting, allows you to answer a second call while you’re already on the phone. You are signaled with a short beep. 

Call Waiting on Caller ID Name/Number

Calling name and number is displayed to the person being called at the time of the call waiting tone.

Cancel Call Waiting

Cancel Call Waiting allows you to turn off call waiting before placing a call. Dial use code *70.

Three-Way Calling

Call Transfer – When subscribed to Three-Way Calling, use call transfer to transfer a call in progress to another number.

Voice Mail

Voice Mail is our Smart Voice service which is an interactive web based program that allows you to check your voice mail, set preferences and manage your calling features online. With Smart Voice you can listen to your messages in any order, forward a voice mail message as email or forward it to a mobile device and more!

Yes, you can call 911 services for medical, police, fire or any other emergency using your FiberMeFast Home Phone Service.

In order to port my number, must my current telephone service be active?

Yes, to successfully port your existing telephone number to our service, the number you wish to port must be active.

If I port my active number to your service, am I responsible to notify my current telephone service provider?
No, your current telephone service provider will be notified during the port process.
I am interested in Home Phone Service but do not have existing phone service currently, do I still qualify?

To qualify for Home Phone Service customers must have an existing, operational telephone service and must be willing to port that service number to FiberMeFast. FiberMeFast will not issue telephone numbers for its Home Phone Service product.

I have active phone service but would prefer a new number as opposed to porting my existing/active telephone number. Can you issue a new number?

No, FiberMefast Home Phone Service is available only to those customers willing to port an existing/active telephone number.

If I port my existing number to your Home Phone Service can my number remain unlisted or non-published?

Yes, your number can remain either unlisted or non-published for an additional charge.

Can I subscribe to just Home Phone Service?

Home Phone Service is not offered as a stand-alone product and must be combined with a FiberMeFast 2-year fiber internet service package agreement.

Will your Home Phone Service work on my existing equipment?

Yes, Home Phone Service will work on your existing telephone wiring and telephone equipment including wired or wireless handsets.

Terms of Use:

FiberMeFast Home Phone Service is available only to qualified residential customers located in a FiberMeFast service area where fiber supported Home Phone Service is offered. Home Phone Service is not offered as a stand-alone product and must be combined with a FiberMeFast 2-year fiber internet service package agreement. To qualify for Home Phone Service customers must have an existing, operational telephone service and must be willing to port that service number to FiberMeFast. FiberMeFast will not issue telephone numbers for its Home Phone Service product.

Backup Power for Home Phone Service during Power Outages:

Historically, voice service has been powered by electrical power within the telephone network. IF SUBSCRIBED to Home Phone Service your fiber network voice and Internet service, including 911 dialing, requires electrical power and will not function during a power outage without battery backup power at your premises. To avoid a disruption of home voice service during an outage – and to maintain the ability to connect to 911 emergency services – at the time of the initial installation at no additional cost, FiberMeFast provides you with a battery backup capable of maintaining up to 8 hours of stand-by power on a corded device, for your residential voice telephone service. You do have the option to purchase a more robust battery backup capable of maintaining up to 24 hours of power.
