SPRING VALLEY, Illinois, May 28th, 2025—FiberMeFast powered by Geneseo Communications, Inc. the area’s leading fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) fiber-optic internet provider, in partnership with the City of Spring Valley, will hold an event on June 17th, 2025, from 5-6:30 p.m. at the city offices, located at 215 N Greenwood St, Spring Valley, IL.
FiberMeFast powered by Geneseo Communications was selected by the city of Spring Valley to build a buried 100% fiber internet network throughout the community. FiberMeFast powered by Geneseo Communications will invest more than $4 million in the city’s infrastructure, bringing the residents of Spring Valley 10 Gigabit, high-speed internet services. The company and City are holding an event to educate the community.
The event will provide residents with an opportunity to ask questions and sign up for service. Spring Valley residents who attend the event will be invited to enter for a chance to win one-year of free fiber internet service.
