Geneseo Communications, Inc. held its sixth annual ice cream social in support of the Aisle of Flags on Tuesday, June 6th to the sounds of Geneseo’s Maple City Band. As part of its commitment to give back to the community, Geneseo Communications employees will donate $3,793 to the Aisle of Flags furthering their mission to honor veterans past and present.
“The Geneseo Aisle of Flags was started nearly 35 years ago as a community salute to the men and women of Geneseo who served our country,” said Judy DeBoever, Aisle of Flags Committee President. “Thanks to the generous support of Geneseo Communications employees and the community, we can continue this tribute to the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave!”
“We had a wonderful turn out and are very pleased with the amount we were able to provide to the Aisle of Flags committee. We wish to thank everyone who donated desserts and all that helped serve, but most especially all those that attended and for their generous support!” Joline Sierens, Production Specialist and ice cream social organizer.
